Camp Oko-Tipi is the location. I have not heard firm dates yet. It`s either the weekend after TAG or the weekend before Halloween.

I don`t know my school schedule yet for fall, but keep your fingers crossed that I don`t have a major exam the week after MVOR.....I really want to come to this one!

I hope the campground is located close the river.

Considering where the camp is, it`s probably a stone`s throw from the Mississippi

Does anyone know how to contact whoever`s in charge of Fall MVOR? My understanding is that it`s Chouteau and Pony Express. So I`ve sent messages to Eugene Vale (Pony Express?) and Kathryn DiFoxfire (Chouteau) with no response. Also, I`ve found the Pony Express web site hasn`t been updated in two years.

First off Eugene Vale is a member of Chouteau and the previous President, Kat is the current Pres. I believe that Brent Gerling is still the current Pres for Pony Express. However the person who will be running the entire show regardless of what any one says will be Krsten Alvey. She did the MSS 50th Anniversary as well as the Chouteau 50th, so for your all`s benefit you better hope that nothing happens to her. As far as the camp ground it sits on a hill above the Mississippi, the only thing that will stop you from going into the river is railroad tracks. Once you get to Saverton the road goes left and right, turn left and follow it all the way to the end. You will see a gravel road leading up the hill follow it up and there is the campground. Chouteau has there annual winter campout at Oki-Tipi.

Fall MVOR is the weekend before Halloween; Oct 22-24, 2010 at Camp Oko-tipi in Saverton, MO about 7 miles south of Hannibal. It is being hosted by Chouteau and PEG. The campsite is small with VERY LIMITED PARKING, EXTREMELY hilly, and is on a bluff right next to the Mississippi. Bunk-bed style lodging will be available for about 100 people in one of seven one-room cabins (we highly recommend you pre-register for these because they will sell out). Cave trips will be available but because of White Nose Syndrome some strict decontamination procedures will apply. We hope to get a Flyer and Website up and running by July.--Kat DiFoxfire Wilson, Chouteau President

I was there today checking it out before heading home. I was hoping it was in the flat field down near the river and railroad tracks.
